Holiday Hope Chests
Make A Difference in a child's holiday!
Holiday Hope Chests is a national project adopted by the Volunteer Center of the Lehigh Valley, Enterprise Rent-A-Car and UGI to help less fortunate children living in the Lehigh Valley. Collected Chests (shoeboxes) will be distributed in the Lehigh Valley through agencies serving children throughout the holiday season. This is a great project for large and small business groups, clubs, classes, families, and individuals.
Just a few simply steps to create your Holiday Hope Chests:
- Complete the Holiday Hope Chests registration form.
- Set your organization/company collection goal - whether it is 5 or 500 you can make a difference!
- Wrap the top and bottom of a shoebox separately - only standard shoebox-sized boxes please.
- Collect new items for the box based on the gender/age of recipient; for gift suggestions, click here.
- Attach gift tag to wrapped box lid.
- Drop off completed boxes at one of the arranged times & location listed on the registration form or...
- Request a "match" so you can deliver your completed Holiday Hope Chests directly to the agency.
