Museum Greeters/Docents
Museum Docents/Greeters: The National Canal Museum is seeking friendly, enthusiastic volunteers (age 16+) to serve as museum docents/greeters for its 2022 season (June – December). They help bring our region’s transportation and industrial history to life for visitors and aid their interaction with museum exhibits.
Volunteers must enjoy interaction with the public, both adults and children, and be able to communicate information well. Training and reading materials are provided. Weekly or biweekly shifts are available Wednesday through Sunday from 11:00-4:30. Museum volunteers must be willing to undergo Pennsylvania child abuse clearances.
