Checkers, Checkers!
Do you like to play checkers? If so, Phoebe Allentown has an opportunity for you! We have residents who need a checkers partner! You don't need to be an expert, just enjoy hanging out with a resident, chatting, and playing checkers. You can choose a date and time that works for you, preferably coming in on a weekly basis.
This individual would need to go through the volunteer application process, including TB testing, background check, and proof of COVID vaccinations. Masking and shielding requirements change with the county COVID infection rate and would be communicated to individual.
While you are volunteering, Phoebe provides you with a free meal.
