GV YMCA Nutrition Education/Horticulture Program Volunteers
The Greater Valley YMCA is seeking volunteer nutrition educators, master gardeners, community educators, and general volunteers. As part of our wellness initiative, the GV YMCA is hoping to beef up our nutrition and horticultural education programming for both adults and children. We are seeking skilled individuals who wish to educate Y members in nutrition and/or gardening. Ideally, we are hoping to provide a minimum of one early childhood lesson and one adult/family- centered lesson at each branch every month throughout the year centered around nutrition and its many aspects and horticulture. This is an ongoing project that is seeking both regular and one-time volunteers. There is no set schedule at this time; this is an ongoing project and we are willing to collaborate with your schedule.
