The Autism Society Lehigh Valley is seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Fundraising Volunteers. As an all-volunteer non-profit organization committed to supporting individuals and families affected by Autism, we rely on the passion and energy of volunteers to help us raise essential funds. These roles are ideal for those who are enthusiastic about making a positive impact in the community and have a genuine interest in supporting individuals with Autism.
Key responsibilities:
- Event Support: Assist in the planning, coordinating, and executing of fundraising events such as walks, galas, and awareness campaigns.
- Donor Engagement: Cultivate relationships with potential donors and sponsors to secure financial support for our programs and initiatives.
- Social Media Promotion: Utilize social media platforms to promote fundraising campaigns, engage with the community, and increase awareness of Autism-related issues.
- Grant Research: Collaborate with the team to identify and research potential grant opportunities that align with the organization’s mission and objectives.
- Creative Fundraising Initiatives: Propose and implement creative fundraising ideas to diversify revenue streams and maximize community involvement.
- Data Entry and Tracking: Maintain accurate records of donor interactions, contributions, and other relevant information.
Qualifications:
- Passion for the mission of the Autism Society Lehigh Valley and a commitment to supporting individuals with Autism.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational abilities with attention to detail
- Availability during key events and campaigns
Time Commitment:
- Requires a minimum commitment of 5-10 hours per month
- Flexible hours based on event schedules and campaign timelines
