Easton Blood Donor Center - Adult Canteen Attendant on Wednesdays and Friday
Someone needs to give out snacks with a smile while monitoring the donors and making sure they are doing well after donating. Why not you? Have fun meeting new people and helping your community at the same time! Canteen Attendants attend to blood donors after the donation process is complete. They offer a drink and a snack, while ensuring the donor is feeling well and remains in the canteen for at least 15 minutes.
We need volunteers that can help at our Easton Donor Center at 3765 Nicholas Street, Easton PA. On Wednesdays from 4:00pm to 7:30pm and Friday's 1:00pm - 4:00pm. We do have other shifts available, days and times vary, This does require an online training with a test along with Child care clearances and PA state clearances (which are free for volunteers).
We are also looking for someone to join us at events in the Lehigh Valley area as our "Half-Pint" mascot. Must be at least 5'5 and no taller than 6'1" to fit into the mascot costume.
At this time, we cannot fulfill community service hours nor placement agency's (RSVP only)
