Opportunity Details

Ambassadors Committee Member

There is an urgent need for foster families in the greater Lehigh Valley.  Our agency is turning away hundreds of children and teens who need foster care because there just aren't enough foster homes available.  These vulnerable children need safe, caring homes where they can begin to heal from trauma and have the kind of childhood all children deserve.

You can help by becoming a member of our Ambassadors Committee.  The Ambassadors Committee spearheads and helps to facilitate outreach and recruitment ideas/ opportunities to raise awareness of the need for foster families and is integral in finding homes for foster children.  Details are below and folks of all different backgrounds, walks of life, and skills are needed.  The more diverse the Ambassadors Committee is, the more creative and far-reaching our ideas will be!  The details of the Committee's roles and expectations are below. The Salvation Army Children's Services does not discriminate and welcomes participation from all without unlawful discrimination or harassment based on age, race, color, religion, sex, national origin, marital status, disability, citizenship, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, or any other characteristic.

Thank you!
