Celebrating 44 years! The Museum of Indian Culture is excited to once again host Pennsylvania's oldest Native American festival, the Roasting Ears of Corn Festival on August 17-18, 2024. This event is the museum's most important fundraiser and we need community support to assure its success. So how can you help?
We have plenty to do to get ready for our big weekend:
Saturday, August 3rd: set-up canopies; children's activity area
Sunday, August 4th : Clean springhouse for Silent Auction
Monday, August 5th: Put up temporary fencing (pound metal stakes)
Tuesday, August 6th: Put up temporary fencing (pound metal stakes)
Friday, August 9th: Set-up Food Stand
Saturday, August 10th: Put up temporary fencing (pound metal stakes)
Sunday, August 11th: cover picnic tables, put up decorator flags
Wednesday, August 14th: Set-up of parking lot (pound metal stakes)
Thursday, August 15th: Put-up no parking / traffic signs, stock food stand
Age Minimum (with Adult): 16+, Minimum Age:18+, Court Ordered Volunteer - Allowed
