Yard Sale Helpers Needed!
The Kindness Project is a local nonprofit providing free support and resources to kids and teens in the foster care system. We are 100% donation-based and primarily volunteer-run. Here's a fun opportunity for a group (or individuals!) to help us prepare and run our semi-annual yard sale fundraiser.
On Friday, 10/4, from 3-8pm, we will be moving items from our boutique in Emmaus to the church that is hosting our sale (just a few miles away in Macungie at Bethany Church). This will entail the ability to lift, carry and organize. It will take place inside the church so it is rain or shine.
On Saturday, 10/5, we will host the yard sale from 8am - 3pm. We will need helpers to setup the outside clothing and other bigger items. We will also need some help keeping items organized, answering questions about our 'fill-a-bag' sale and handing out bags for shopping.
