Sunday Afternoon Worship Transporter
We are in need of volunteers to help transport our residents via wheelchair from their units down to the all purpose room where worship is held. This is a physically demanding job as you will be pushing wheelchairs to and from Sunday worship. You would be working closely with our pastoral care department in assisting them.
We have worship most every Sunday of the year and, of course, on religious holidays. The time frame is from 1pm until 4pm. You could help with every Sunday, every other Sunday, or even just pick the Sundays that work best for you.
The more people we have helping to transport our folks, the more get to attend worship. Attending church service in person is very improtant to our folks!
This individual would need to go through the volunteer application process, including TB testing, background check, and proof of initial COVID vaccinations.
