Midwinter clean up for farm and farm animals
Three areas need attending depending on the weather:
1.The indoor arena is a gathering place for winter group activities, riding lessons, and hay storage. It also becomes the "drop off" stuff place and regularly needs reorganizing to remain useful.
2. Burn pit collection of not needed wood needs a group to safely run a fire (marshmallows an option)
3. Outdoor raking of accumulated hay in the pastures- weather again permitting
4. Minor carpentry work in the stalls for individuals with carpentry talents.
The Blacksmith shop all purpose room that has been a project for other years, now has a working woodstove and meeting area to allow all who come to work with us a warm place, hot cocoa, and cozy fire.
We should have two new calves for the families to come and feed also.
