Grant Writing Help

The volunteer grant writer will be responsible for creating applications for funding. This would include the applications to foundations, trusts, or governments to solicit funding for our non-profit organization. The candidate will be responsible for supporting grant application process by managing a checklist of application requirements, gathering relevant program details, and assisting with the writing process. Candidate will be responsible for monitoring progress against grant commitments and communicating grant reporting deadlines and coordinate collection of information needed to meet reporting requirements. The position is crucial to the organization, since the performance of a grant writer may be directly influential for the amount of money collected. The successful volunteer grant writer will work alongside the Board to execute fundraising strategies plans. They would be able to apply for a board position, when available. Board Meetings are on the second Monday of every month at 7pm. This position is vital to the continuation of the Nazareth Center for the Arts. |
