Administrative Assistance
The Sanctuary at Haafsville is looking for assistance with administrative tasks. The position will interact with volunteers and members of the public on a daily basis. Times available are any weekday between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Ideal times are 8:30 a.m. - noon.
Job Responsibilities and Duties
- Act as a general presence on site to meet the public, answer questions, etc.
- Answer phone calls and email messages
- Assist with managing inventory and donations
- Make vet appointments and transport to vet appointments (if needed and comfortable)
- File and maintain animal care information, including medical records, animal control log, etc.
- Data entry
- Manage printing needs
- Assist with laundry when needed
- Maintain neat and organized work and storage space
- Additional opportunities are available to fit the individual's skill set, such as social media, marketing, executive assistant, etc.
