Required Skill: Video Production and Editing
Project: Produce a short video
Additional Information (if provided): We are looking for somebody who could help us produce 1 or more (maybe start with one with the possibility of more in the future) short videos highlighting the stories of foster and adoptive families. Although the Lehigh Valley is currently experiencing a critical shortage of foster homes, many prospective families are turning away because of fear, misconceptions, or feeling like they don't have what it takes. We would love to highlight the stories of ordinary people from all walks of life to show that you don't have to be a special kind of person to foster, just willing and open to making a difference. Locations can be flexible if you have a studio or place you would prefer to film, or we could film in the families' homes or our office (we have locations in both Allentown and Souderton). We would like to use these videos monthly in our new family preparation trainings, as well as at special events, on social media, etc.
This SkillsConnect project has a deadline of November 30, 2023, can be completed in roughly 7 - 10 hours
