Community School Outreach Coordinator

Role Overview:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and organized Community School Outreach Coordinator volunteer to join our team. The ideal candidate is passionate about community building, student engagement, and providing excellent support to schools. This position offers hands-on experience in outreach coordination, partnership development, and event planning, supporting the growth and engagement of our school community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • School Engagement: Assist in developing and implementing strategies to engage and support schools in the community.
  • Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for school inquiries, providing timely and professional responses.
  • Database Management: Maintain and update the school outreach database, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Outreach: Conduct outreach to potential school partners through various channels, including email, phone, and social media.
  • Event Coordination: Support the planning and execution of school events, workshops, and community activities.
  • Feedback Collection: Gather and analyze feedback from schools to identify areas for improvement and enhance engagement.
  • Reporting: Generate reports on outreach trends, engagement metrics, and other relevant data.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing and events teams to promote school partnership benefits and opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Skills:
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides).
    • Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
    • Attention to detail and accuracy in data management.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Hours: Varies per week, hours are limited. Might include evenings and weekends for specific events.
