Open Gate Farm Tour at The Gress Mountain Ranch 2024
The Ranch is a sanctuary: a safe haven of recovery for animals, and a therapeutic community for adults, youth and children. Our unique accomplishment is rehabilitating the animals in our care and connecting their stories of survival and healing to the personal experiences of people who have suffered physical, mental, emotional, or social trauma. We are a “forever” home to our animals who have become permanent residents and are given special training to strengthen their role in therapy. Additionally, the Ranch is an extremely active site for volunteerism and promotes animal welfare education.
Volunteers are needed 10 a.m to 5:30 p.m. on October 20th for our Open Gate Farm Tour to help with many areas, including: set up before the event, visitor parking, bake sale table, food & beverage tables, 'gate keeper' for animal stalls, and breakdown after the event at 5PM. There will also be donkey cart rides, pony rides, and crocheted hats by Cheryl Freeman for sale. Music will be provided by Nite Liters, LLC. https://www.facebook.com/nitelitersllc/

PLEASE DO NOT JUST SHOW UP AT THE RANCH!
All volunteers need to call the ranch for an interview ASAP, (610) 398-2122, and to reserve your spot. Volunteers must also complete the Release of Liability Agreement found on our website here - http://www.gressmountainranch.org/volunteers/orientation-forms/
