Host a Health and Wellness Item Drive at Your Location!
Community and workplace leaders are invited to plan and host donation drives at their location to collect health and hygiene items for YWCA Allentown's Perfect Fit program and its affiliated Personal Care Pantry. As a Donation Drive Coordinator, you will publicize the donation drive among your team (co-workers, school, civic group, retail store, etc) and designate the dates and drop-off location(s) at your site. YWCA Allentown will provide you with a "Wish List" of high-demand items that may include body wash, shampoo/conditioner, deodorant, and period care items. At the conclusion of the drive, our staff will schedule a time for you to deliver the items to our Allentown office.
In addition to or in lieu of a traditional Donation Drive, YWCA Allentown can work with you to host an "Online Donation Drive" and provide you with our Amazon registry of high-demand items. Donation Drive Coordinators circulate and promote the online registry their team. Donors may browse the online registry and purchase item(s) that will ship directly to YWCA Allentown.
Launched in 2022, the Personal Care Pantry now serves more than 600 Allentown and Lehigh Valley residents annually, ensuring that women can access important health and hygiene products for themselves and their families, and look and feel their best for interviews, work, and school.
