Seeking Volunteers for our West Ward Community Initiative Clean-Up Day!
Calling all community members and businesses! We need YOU! Join your neighbors to spruce up the West Ward. You can work on your own, work with your neighbors, or join one of our larger neighborhood clean up efforts. Supplies and t-shirts will be available for pick up starting at 8:30am at 100 North 12th Street. All volunteers must check in at 100 North 12th Street on the morning of the event.
Register by April 9th to snag yourself a West Ward Clean Up Day t-shirt.
Clean up supplies include FREE trash bags, gloves, and a few other surprises. We’ll also have trash grabbers for sale for only $5 (cash only)
Group Clean Up Efforts
Want to work with a group of your neighbors? Sign up for one of these larger clean up efforts:
- Tree Wells (Northampton Street)
- Butler Street Litter Cleanup
- 10th and Pine
- Homeowner Helpers
Block Clean Up
Grab your dust pan and broom and get your block looking spiffy.
Better yet, join some of your neighbors and work together. Some ideas
for things to do:
- Pick-up trash
- Weed and mulch tree wells
- Clear storm water drain grates
- Clean-up back alleys
- Spruce up the area in front of your house(s)
- Plant your window boxes or front porch planters
- Wipe down your front door & trim
- Hose down siding and shutters
