Mentoring Changes Lives! Scientific research has found that just the presence of a compassionate adult alone can encourage pro-social behavior in youth. Just by being your compasionate self, you have the power to impact someone else's life, help them achieve their goals and watch them chase their dreams! The Tabor Mentoring Program matches individuals with children and youth who could benefit from getting a different perspective on life. Mentors interact with youth out in the community which provides a unique opportunity for mentors to model for their mentee. Matches are made based on personality, common interests, and need.
